The Great Shelby Giveback - Complete the Loop

Parks belong to all of us, but open access only matters if people can actually use what's here. Right now, the busiest stretch of the Lake Sevier loop forces walkers to share pavement with cars, crosses traffic at an awkward angle, and slopes in ways that shut out strollers, wheelchairs, and many of our older neighbors. That's a barrier we can fix. Completing the loop means a safer path, a properly aligned crosswalk, and an ADA-compliant surface, so more families, walking clubs, runners, and neighbors of every ability can say yes to this park. As a Friends of Shelby board member, this is the project I'm most proud to back. Every dollar is matched June 1–10. Please give what you can and help us keep Shelby open to everyone.
